previous entry that I was working at paying off credit card debt; and I got a very happy surprise in the mail on Friday night. Credit card #2 will be paid off with a $16 payment in September. The debt on this card was (from what I can remember) the highest of the four Im paying off, and seeing that it only has $16 left to pay on it, I am so encouraged. That piece of mail got me thinking about the things Ive learned from being financially responsible, and the overall theme has been you dont have to have it all.
1. You can live without cable. There are at least a half-dozen sites on the internet where you can watch television (this does mean, though, that you have to have high-speed internet).
2. You can live without haircuts every six weeks. I havent had my hair cut since February. It doesnt look as great as it could, but thats okay. Ive gotten used to having to work to make it look fantastic, but I have saved so much money by just letting it grow out. I could be trimming it myself, but I dont trust me and scissors on my own hair, so Ill just wait.
3. You can live without brand new (or brand name) clothes. I have learned the joy of shopping at Goodwill and the excitement of finding two new pair of Gap pants for less than $20.You can find some really good deals if youre willing to work a bit for them.
4. You can live without so much of a social life. I work 40 hours a week at the bank and then 12 hours a week on other jobs as well as writing this blog and my personal blog, too. I dont always have time to spend with my friends, and while they get frustrated with that sometimes, they know why Im doing it. (Church has been my social life, and that works a-okay for me!) My friends have also been amazing in understanding that I can go out to dinner with them if they help me out, and theyre fantastic about that.
5. You can live without what you want and just get by on what you need. Right now, there is a huge list of in my life, and a very short list of and Im still surviving. My bills are being paid and Im a happy woman. Think about this a bit do you really *need* that next purchase or is it on the want list?
6. You can live without being absolutely independent. You can ask for help. Ive asked my friends, Ive asked my family, Ive even reached out to pastors at church and asked for help. Asking for help doesnt make you weak, it makes you strong. You know you cant handle something on your own and so you turn to someone else.
What can you live without.

A big % of young girls suffer from menstruation problems. I will try to describe some situation and what can be done, from my own experience.
Well, if your menstruation is late, than first of all check if you are not pregnant. First method how to check it - make a test. There two types of pregnancy tests - morning test and anytime test, which is more sensible. I did for example 3 morning tests and all of them showed negative.
But tests may lie. They dont always show the right thing, due to some unknown reasosn. So the best thing is to visit a doctor and she will tell you if there is any pregnancy or not.
So, if you are not pregnant but the menstruation still doesnt start. I have this situation all the time. For example once I had two months late period. This was terrible, I didnt know what to do. The doctors wanted me to check my hormones, but finally everything was right.
One of the advice is to start taking contraceptive tablets, which will regulate your period. Women that cannot get pregnant, take the contraceptive tablets for 3 months and their fertility raises in several times. The following 3 months after stoping taking contraceptive tablets, there are more chances to get pregnant than before. Everyone knows that.
So I was taking them for 2 years, and now when I stopped, my period went out of control. The doctor said I dont have enough women hormones and she prescribed me some tablets for artificial stimulation of the menstruation. This is what normally doctors do in such cases.
Here are some reasons why the menstruation can be late:
- hormones problems
- ovary dysfunction
- too much stress
- weightloss, diet
In fact there can be so many reasons, you cannot imagine. It is good to stay informed about the problem.

Is the menopause ruining your life? Are members of your family fed up with your mood swings and irrational behaviour? There IS a natural solution to your problems which will avoid you having to resort to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and the health risks that go with it.
Menozac is a powerful herbal remedy. According to the makers of Menozac just two tablets a day will ease most of the problems associated with the menopause – problems such as hot flashes, night sweats, depression, mood swings and vaginal dryness to name but a few.
So what are the results like? Well, personally, I think it’s a great remedy. It’s fast acting – which is what you want and it’s also reasonably priced. Many women who have taken Menozac claim that the effect on some of the physical symptoms such as hot flashes is an immediate improvement if not total cure. Most say that it dramatically reduces or eliminates bloating and water retention and still others say that they generally feel happier, are more in control and are having a much more restful night’s sleep.
The main alternative for most women is to undergo a course of HRT. However, this really isn’t a decision to be taken lightly given the increased cancer risks that are associated with it. As far as I can see the only possible downside to taking Menozac is that some women may experience nausea - but most don’t. And if you do have a problem with it then the manufacturer offers an unconditional 90 day money back guarantee. On that basis you really don’t have anything to lose, just a life to gain (again).
For more information please visit the official Menozac website where you will find detailed testimonials or click here to order Menozac and get up to two free bottles.

1, afraid of his wife regardless of the size of genitals
Men worried about the size of his genitals, women with breast size of their concern is the same strong, unmarried men, because of the lack of experience, to have worried about their penis size is not surprising, but married men worried that their penis too big or too Also a small minority. In particular, some newly-wed husband and married for a long time still can not let his wife have been met her husband, intercourse, often afraid of his wife regardless of the size of the penis, in fact, the male penis length of the deviation as if the sub is a high-low, and really sick Zhu Ruzheng the Giants and indeed very few of the same, morbid penis is too long or too short also extremely rare. Generally believed that erectile after the 7.8 to 20 centimeters between all belong to normal, relatively short side, the side of the penis, sexual life, as long as the attention to sexual intercourse positions, not detract from the harmony of the two sides. Therefore, the couples sex life, when his wife aware of the sensitive husband to worry about the size of his genitals, the correct approach is to tell him that your sex life and do not have much impact, as long as her husband heart, you Will feel good. This will greatly enhance her husband's self-confidence.
2, afraid of what his wife did not know when the need for more caressing and stimulating
One of the doctors her husband once said: "We make love, my wife usually their own hands Fumo, perineum; Sometimes, I have to hand caressing her, she can open my hand, Does she prefer to own rather than I give her caressing? " From the women access to the ease of orgasm, women's self-stimulate natural than her husband's touch access to the physical nature of the meet, but the matter is that both sides make love, mutual caressing each other's Stimulation and completion of the common life of the whole process, far more than alone perfect. Therefore, the wise wife should give her husband guidelines.
3, fear of erectile strong enough
Male erectile function love to the impact of many factors: working on the cause of the pressure, the burden too heavy, husband and wife feelings Shihe, etc., will make erectile poor, or even in the absence of these factors, more than 30-year-old male, Will be occasional erection of poor performance. So many men will doubt their sexual function, and some will blindly take various Bushen impotence drug to save their "growing recession" of sexual function. In fact, compared with 18-25 years of age this section of male sexuality most productive period, Maiguo Erlizhinian men will feel the impulse of the reduction, but the ability to enhance control. So, this time for his wife's attitude is most important, if his wife with suspicion, blaming or ridiculed tone of voice that her husband will only make the problem even more serious. The best way is: better choice of husband emotional, or erectile function well in the morning, caressing his genitals, but also allows him to stimulate the vagina, so her husband no longer has to worry about erectile function.
4, camouflage upsurge in fear of his wife
Husband and wife in life, the couple's sexual response, the information can be each other sensors, inspire each other, one side was the reaction of the thrill of the other party will feel great satisfaction. Take her husband, the wife was in love, orgasm, so that he can to get more stimulation, but also let him have a men's pride and sense of accomplishment. However, if the other side know that the orgasm is only a camouflage, at this time will greatly undermine his self-esteem and affect his sexual interest, perhaps some women think that their responses to her husband is so important, then, in their own Do not want to put sexual intercourse, or when the body is not timely, to appease her husband might not have this as some researchers believe that the wife in front of her husband camouflage orgasm, just as she said in front of his kind words addressed the guests, if the sex did not reach climax His wife can explain to her husband: "Today I am feeling bad" or "I am too tired today, but with you also love physical contact and I am satisfied," his wife said through a genuine, the husband will understand.
5, are not afraid of his wife several times orgasm
From a physiological point of view, men in the climax of excitement, the performance of its features is a ejaculation, once the end of ejaculation, men should not be on the access of the period, the stimulation will not be any further response. The reason why men should not be a sexual period, which is in the process of human evolution, a self-protection mechanism, and should not be in the period, the accumulation of male sexual organs, semen, the whole body tense muscles relax, to prepare for the next sexual excitement. However, women should not be of no period, some of Kepu Shu often have such a word: women with continuous repeated the potential to achieve orgasm. But this is a "potential" and not "inevitable." Some complained that her husband often: "I would like to allow for multiple wives can achieve orgasm, often counterproductive, and sometimes they also make for unpleasant." In fact, one-time upsurge in women after the reaction varied, the vast majority of Women need to continue to Wencun, caressing, sexual excitement slowly decline, and this is a "drama" of some women in the upsurge after a one-time if given the appropriate, suitable incentives can be acquired to meet again, but the general level of excitement Lower than the first one; In addition, there are some women in the one-time upsurge, the body including the skin, the ultra-sensitive parts into a sensitive state, the only husband and wife need to embrace each other, whispering to refuse any stimulation, such as when to caressing And stimulate the contrary, feeling uncomfortable, a discomfort. Therefore, women can not be reached for the theory of multiple orgasm by the temptations, as long as both husband and wife can share in the joy of sex, intimate, one-time upsurge enough.
6, afraid of their own sex long enough time
The length of time sex no standard at all, men often feel that the longer a good time, they note that the longer a function of their own, the stronger, more sexual techniques, at the same time, the longer and the more satisfied with the wife can, thus men Comparison of capacity in each other often boasted of his sexual intercourse time how long. In fact, there are two errors need to correct: First, sexual intercourse time and time there is a difference between sex and love from both sides that time is of the former Hee ready to start until after the end of sexual intercourse, the two sides through mutual caressing after the completion of the drama of life, This whole process is the time to make love, this process can be sustained tens of minutes or even longer. A husband and wife to some of the morning in front of each other out at night, go home earlier, the agreement is the meaning of "Tonight we Guoxingshenghuo," then, in a broad sense in terms of sex should be time in the morning began. Intercourse time that the male penis is inserted into the vagina, has been completed to ejaculation, this time not as most people boasted that long. Statistics of the U.S. researchers found that the American husband and wife, most of the time sexual intercourse between 5-9 minutes. Can be sustained tens of minutes, even more than one hour of men whether it Perhaps there are, but we can say very little. Second, even when men in sexual intercourse can be sustained over one hour, then such a long period of time is really necessary? Excessive male ejaculation is "premature ejaculation", as "premature ejaculation" Some worry about the men, but "no later than the Chinese" did not seem worried about the people, but if the male penis in the vagina tic more than half an hour, and did not intend to be Control, there was no ejaculation, which has always existed, it not only can be diagnosed as "no later than China," and even non-ejaculation of the suspects. Moreover, women's sexual satisfaction, and men do not have sexual intercourse is directly proportional to the length of time. Therefore, men should not blindly believe in the longer time sexual intercourse, and if you think your wife can not be satisfied with the sustained, then increased after the theater before the play and the time, or in the sex add some new ingredients to try new ways, the same sex Will let you satisfied with his wife.

In current times, ‘laser hair removal treatment’ is becoming very popular in Chicago. There can be a number of questions that cross our minds when we contemplate laser treatment. For example, how is this treatment carried out? What can be the possible side-effects? Whether the hair removal done is permanent? What is the cost of the treatment? How much time does it take? If you are looking for the right answers to these questions, visit us at www.advancedlaserskin.com to know in depth. Advanced Laser Clinics is a leading clinic in treatments of skin and hair, and is one of the most preferred destinations in laser techniques. Performing laser hair removal in Chicago takes approximately about an hour for both legs. In this technique, as the laser beam is moved over your legs, it passes through your skin and it is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicles. The heat generated by the laser breaks apart the follicle and reduces the growth of hair. Before undergoing laser hair removal, skin specialists will need to analyze your skin tone and color, to decide upon the nature, duration, and type of your laser treatment. This pre-treatment analysis is crucial and Advanced Laser Clinics has an experienced group of specialists for such purposes. Laser hair removal treatments tend to work best on fair-skinned people with dark hair. For darker skin tone, this treatment is less effective because the laser gets absorbed by pigment in the skin and often doesnt reach the hair follicle. Laser hair removal treatment also doesnt seem to work very well on light-haired people or whose hair contains little melanin. To experience desired results, you ought to undergo three or four treatments, six to eight weeks apart. Such continuous treatment results in meaningful reduction in the amount of hair on your body. After undergoing this treatment, you have to treat the particular area carefully. Since the treated area remains sensitive for a few days, it is advisable to wear protective clothing and sun block whenever you’re outside. Try to limit the sun exposure for a day or two after the treatment. Some slight swelling and redness may be experienced as noticed generally. These side-effects disappear within a day and can be soothed with ice or a mild anti-inflammatory cream. More rare side-effects can be peeling, blistering, and burning of the skin as well as brown spots. Advanced Laser Clinics is one of the best places to undergo laser hair removal in Chicago. Visit www.advancedlaserskin.com to know more about laser hair removal prices, laser hair removal treatment, Chicago laser hair removal and permanent hair removal.

Does your skin look dry, rough and cracked? Do you notice that day after day, your pores seem to be more visible as you look in the mirror? Skin looks this way because of dead skin cells on the outer layer of your skin which prevents the growth of healthy, new cells for the skin to look younger and rejuvenated.
Especially in an urban environment, everyone needs to pay more attention to skin care. Smoke, dirt, and ultraviolet rays are just some of the things which may ruin your skin’s natural and youthful glow. Some of the most popular products on the market today are exfoliators, and with good reason. Exfoliators work on the simple principal that new skin cells look better than older or dead skin cells. If the surface of your skin can be cleaned of dead skin cells, it will be replaced with new healthy cells. The new skin cells will give the skin a youthful healthy look.
Exfoliators are based on this simple principle – remove the old dead skin cells and allow new healthy skin cells to grow.
In addition to the natural aging and death of skin cells, exposure to smoke, dust, pollution of all types, and the sun’s rays, all take their toll. Exposure to the sun, and the various toxins in the air, makes skin dull, rough, and looking unhealthy. In order for the skin to regain its healthy and youthful appearance, the outer layer of dead skin cells must be removed so the skin can freely produce new healthy cells.
With the removal of dead skin cells, fine lines and wrinkles are also removed. This makes Exfoliators a essential part of any anti-aging skin care regiment.
Dead skin cells clog the skin, leaving it dry and flaky. Exfoliators de-clog the pores and minimize their appearance, leaving it healthy-looking and moisturized.
Make-up may prematurely age the skin when it is not removed properly. Dirt and pollution may clog the pores when the skin is not well-cared for.

That wee lass on her dad's knee? It's...me. (Awww) Is it a good candidate for purging? Maybe. It's pretty beat up, and there's nothing particularly rare or special about the image. There are plenty of other baby photos of me with my dad in our family photo collection. I won't mind if my kids toss it, but I will tell them (and you) why the photo has special meaning for me.
This Polaroid was given to me when I was still in grammar school. Every choice I made about how to display and store it were dead wrong. Seriously. It went into a cheap acrylic frame and onto a shelf that was in direct sunlight most afternoons. It's been handled roughly as you can tell by the scratches and tears. Repairs were made with scotch tape (yikes!).
I love this print like I love my scratchy old K-Tel records. It's a sentimental treasure that I've kept for decades. See the tape on the bottom of my shoes? That's to keep me from wiping out. Again, awwww.
But I also love this print because it tells an important story that all photo collectors need to remember: BAD STORAGE AND ROUGH HANDLING DID NOT DESTROY THIS IMAGE.
Even though it's been damaged, you can still see it. Digital is a different story. If this was burned onto a CD that got scratched and exposed to direct sunlight, there would be no way to translate the 1s and 0s back into a photo of me smiling on my Dad's knee.
There is no middle ground with digital. It's either "Go" or "No go."
Even though it's my birthday and I am officially QUEEN FOR A DAY, I'm not going to sneak in another entire column here at the end. Is anybody still reading? Good! Scientific facts matter to liberals only when they help liberals. Otherwise they are to be ignored.
The liberals media just LOVE this ridiculous story about the pregnant who had a baby girl yesterday. Its a quintessentially liberal story through and through. Liberals love it because they love to gender bend and to blur the differences between the sexes. All liberals love that. So they love calling this woman a , despite the obvious scientific facts.
Heres my politically-incorrect albeit scientific opinion: Get real.
This is no . Well OK perhaps shes more manly than most Canadian liberals but still, shes no The person in question has a vagina. was born with a vagina. He still has a vagina. And a uterus. And no, none of that stuff was into the male so as I see it hes not even a transgendered man And he was born with regular female breasts. managed to have (female) breasts removed so he could look more like a man even though she is still a female (too bad because the shloombabas might have come in handy today what with the new baby and the high price of milk).
She then her gender legally (yes, you can do that today in post-modern Canada). Then she got her wife (another real live female) to inject some sperm into her, which was ever so kindly by some other like-minded third person (probably a male, but God, these days Im not sure). It was injected into vagina by way of a very romantic and sacred squirt of a veterinary syringe contraption inserted into the said vagina.
Oh wait I have to stop for a smoke.
The resulting pregnancy yielded a baby girl (well until she perhaps changes her gender legally) born yesterday. The girl now has two moms, and has to live with this freak story indelibly attached to her for the rest of her life. Who knows how she will cope? Will she be massively confused and mentally tormented and besieged by emotional anguish for all her living days? I imagine she might. Nobody knows of course, but the odds are certainly stacked against her in some extreme and unusual, perverted way. But you know, its for the kids.
And this is all acceptable to liberals, these days. Because its what the all three of them (two of whom are women and one of whom is a man but he isnt in the picture at all and one of the women calls themselves a man)wanted.
Too bad the liberal media are such jam tarts that they cant confront the truth and instead just spit at the scientific facts when it suits them and their agenda. Too bad stupid people still trust them and get more stupid
But God what a fun experiment huh.

Teenwire a lot to check medical facts and provide references when writing about sexual health issues for the organization. Honestly, I love Teenwire. Its amazing. If you have a teen, I cant more strongly recommend giving them a link to this site. On Teenwire, answers arent given only about contraception and STD prevention nope, you name it, theyve got it. From LGBT informational resources, to positive body image, to information about healthy relationships, including information about rape and consent, theyve got the bases covered.
Now, is the site explicit? Somewhat. There arent pictures that could be considered pornographic, but there is *gasp* strong and honest language used to talk about sexuality. I know, using the names of real body parts, not treating teens like theyre asexual beings who should be embarrassed to ask questions and breaking the taboo of all taboos by talking about pleasure as a part of sex education is pretty scary. Admittedly, the site is extremely comprehensive and frank Ive found information on masturbation, female sexual pleasure, female ejaculation, pubic hair, penis size . . . the list goes on. Even I was a bit surprised that they included so much information on such diverse and in depth topics. This is, of course, why I love it. Teenwire treats sex like a healthy, important part of life for those who wish to engage in it, encourages conversations between sexual partners, and treats females like autonomous people with sexual desire.

Migraine: has gone, although I was still in dull pain Tuesday and part of today.
Osteopath: has click clacked my mastoids (bones at base of skull that join to neck) back into place and I should be OK for a few months now.
Blood pressure: new reading at doctors surgery tonight was 175 over 112. Still high, but not as frighteningly high as Friday. For a few years now I have been aware that my BP was on the high side of normal (previously around 140 over 90) but this recent increase is unexpected. The doctor wants to monitor me every 2 weeks for the next two months to see if it decreases, before deciding whether to medicate. She is happy for me to exercise and positively wants me to go to the gym as she sees exercise as one of the most likely ways of lowering the BP.

I am finding the support of the blogosphere wonderful, and even more so when I receive lovely e-mails from readers who dont always want to leave public comments. One 21 year old man e-mailed me a week ago when I was complaining about lack of male readers, to let me know yes you do have male readers; I click every day to see if there is a new blog from you. It is surprising to me that my blog (the mid-life crisis ramblings of an overweight, unsuccessful in love 40 year old woman) should in some way appeal to a 21 year old university student!
Also had two minor flirtations this week, which is exceedingly surprising, after Ive convinced you all Im an ugly hag who no man has ever looked at. (Well, OK, a few have looked, but never the right ones at the right time, and never in a way that has led to an asking out kind of situation.)
FLIRT 1
Was a man in his late 50s who tried to catch my eye and speak to me at Cannon Street station earlier in the week. (OK, OK, already he was actually trying to speak to me perhaps this could have led to an asking out situation, but I was diligently doing my best to ignore him.) Am I being fussy in not being bowled over by white haired bearded men in their late 50s with very craggy faces, who are not wearing well? I know I am 150 lbs overweight, but I have actually kept myself quite tidy in most other respects and due to my nice plump face and not having lived so much (no major relationships, break ups, kids, deaths, disease, drugs, none of that nonsense) I have a very unlined face which I think (and am sometimes told) looks quite a bit younger than my 40 years.
Yes, I can hear the cynics and critics already: s not all about looks, you hypocrite: you dont want men to judge you for your weight but you dismiss white haired beardy old men: what are you like, woman? (What I'm like is: just like the rest of the world and men in particular - judging them exactly the same way they judge me - based on looks and very superficial first impressions: get over it, everyone does it.)
Or, put it this way: my 76 year old Dad still has a full head of dark hair (not black as in his youth, but dark grey/silver) and he looks YOUNGER than the 59 year old white haired creep eyeing me up on Tuesday.
TAKE A TIP MEN: if you look older than my pensionable Dad you have not got a cat in hells chance.
TIP NO. 2: my Dad looks very young, slim, fit, spritely and tanned like George Hamilton (so tough luck: you are quite likely to look older than him).
FLIRT 2
Was a man in his mid 30s, who I could describe as: tall, dark and handsome. In fact, he was all of those things but he was also (like me) carrying over 100 lbs of excess baggage and I could tell that he had about as much confidence as me (poor chap). What is the chance of two completely unconfident people who both sit on a train thinking What is that person looking at me for? Im fat and ugly? What are they doing? Are they blind? ever asking each other out? NIL.
This man, Tall Dark Handsome Fat Man (TDHFM), was on the train I took to the osteopathy clinic in Beckenham. Unbeknown to him I dont actually live in Beckenham (he might think that I do and he might be searching fruitlessly for me on the train for several days now: sorry chap, you will have a long and wasted search). I think that TDHFM does live in that area, as he walked casually, as if he was on his way home. I walked fast and purposefully as I was on my way to an appointment and was running late. TDHFM also made one other fundamental error: wearing an i-Pod which is non-conducive to striking up a conversation.
I really doubt that I will ever see him again, or that it even matters. It was just a fleeting moment. Interesting to me, because as soon as I saw him I could see you would be really gorgeous mate if you just lost 100 lbs (of course I never said that or had the opportunity to do so) but it made me realise that possibly the same is true of me and that I am not quite the wretch I have deigned to portray myself as in my blog.
Unfortunately the words fat and ugly go together too easily and get lumped together as abuse by numerous people throughout your life who want to tease or torment a person who simply weighs more than the average human being.
P.S. Reese, one of my male blogging jogging readers, no need to tell me: dont think about men, Sharon, just concentrate on the weight loss for now. I hear you already: I am just trying to make this blog slightly more interesting as Im sure the first three paragraphs (re: BP, osteopathy and migraine) would not make for the most entertaining blog ever posted.

Someone should ask Barack Obama or John McCain (who will play along with the idea of health funded by theft) why this lady who was being provided New Yorks version of universal health care had to die on camera on the floor of a psychiatriac ward.
The inevitable clarion calls for more rules, more oversight and more bureaucrats will be heard because people are naturally horrified by such a lonely and undignified death. In ignorance, we will march one step closer to ultimate mediocrity in health care and our options will narrow just a little further. More people will go crazy as they realize that freedom of choice in America is just a pipe dream. Some of them will die while being prodded by the indifferent foot of a bureaucrat. The cold eye of a surveillance camera paid for with tax dollars stolen from that person while he or she was still sane will record the entire event, a silent witness to the involuntary downward spiral that happens in a society with too much government and not enough love to go around. Well find out what her name was, and well vote for more cameras and more rule books and more petty authortarianism and then well forget about the woman who died alone on a cold floor in a cold room in a city populated by more government employees per capita than almost any in the world. See your future if you can. Maybe Im wrong, but I doubt it.

for “In Sickness And In Health,” an episode of the NBC anthology show, “Fear Itself.”
As the episode begins, Sam (Maggie Lawson) is getting ready for her wedding in the womens dressing room with her two best friends. While she has had tumultuous relationships in her past, her whirlwind romance with Carlos (James Roday) has culminated in a rushed wedding boycotted by her brother, the only family she has and with whom she has lived her whole life.

An Anatomy of Surrender Bruce Bawer argues, quite convincingly, that too many Westerners, motivated by fear and multiculturalism, are acquiescing to creeping sharia.
These Westerners have begun, in other words, to internalize the strictures of sharia, and thus implicitly to accept the deferential status of dhimmis—infidels living in Muslim societies.
Call it a cultural surrender. The House of War is slowly—or not so slowly, in Europe’s case—being absorbed into the House of Submission.
--
The driving force on the road to sharia is the media who have caught the spirit of the age which is nothing other than the spirit of appeasement.
Bawer expands on the role the New York Times plays in The Times, It Ain't a-Changin
Let’s examine some highlights from the history of the Times — not only America’s most famous newspaper, but the one from which the nation’s media have, to an extraordinary extent, taken their lead for generations. These highlights do not even begin to tell the whole story of the Times’s treatment of totalitarianism over the decades, of course, but they point to something chronic, unhealthy, and dishonest at the heart of the Gray Lady’s editorial sensibility that has yet to be effectively addressed - and that has its counterparts in countless less prominent media on which the Times has long exerted a major influence.
There follows a sad litany of the NYT's denial of the famine under Stalin, its failure to report on the vicious anti-semitism of the Nazi regime, its far too long denial of genocide against the Jews in Germany and its portrayal of Fidel Castro as a romantic, guerilla hero.
In this sense, the Times is not a liberal newspaper at all, but deeply conservative, determined above all to provide its largely comfortable and affluent readers with a consistent, predictable picture of the world that doesn’t challenge their own worldview in any significant way or make them feel obliged to deal with things they’d prefer not to deal with. Certainly a loyalty to “established patterns” is a factor in the refusal by the Times and other media today to report honestly on the dramatic changes in European society wrought by the continent’s ongoing Islamization.
--
The Times should have learned a valuable lesson or two from its past. But it’s making exactly the same mistakes today with Islam in the West that it did with Stalinism and Hitlerism, ignoring and discrediting the testimony of honest observers while giving legitimacy to tyranny’s sympathizers and apologists. The Times’s power is such that it might play an immensely positive role in educating its readers about the situation before them and helping them to recognize where their own responsibilities lie. Instead it’s pursuing an editorial policy that bids fair to be every bit as disastrous as was its approach to Stalin, the Holocaust, and Castro. And a large segment of the mainstream Western media is following its example.

If you are a woman gearing up for your first day in office, remember that going to office does not imply sacrificing your personal comfort or fashion. One can look stylish and fashionable even in formal attire provided one does not overdo things. The first and the foremost thing is to feel comfortable and confident in whatever one wears as carrying your outfit with a right attitude is what contributes to making a correct first impression. The formal dresses for women meant particularly for office wear should be those which project a professional, competent and a dynamic appearance. Moreover, the fitting and the colors should be rightly selected as one’s dress reflects one’s external as well as internal self.

There is much to unpack here. What does innateness have to do with human rights? For example, being a member of a particular religious belief system is certainly not innate (even if holding a generic religious belief is innate), and yet mnuez seems to be willing to defend the human rights of strange Mormon sects to practice their wacky beliefs. Why should the same not be true of homosexuals?
I'm also not sure what he means by his last sentence. If Christian mommies want to live without a television in their house (as my Orthodox married sister does) so as not to be exposed to the evils of Will and Grace, more power to them. If they went to further restrict themselves and their children from exposure to not just television, but modern secular culture in general (as my many Chareidi aunts, uncles, and cousins living in Israel do), more power to them as well.
I don't see how any of this turns on the question of the innateness of homosexuality. Why is the belief that homosexuality is innate any more dangerous or influential to the Christian mommies than the belief that homosexuality is environmental but also unobjectionable and perfectly compatible with a happy, healthy, moral, flourishing, satisfying life? The Modern Orthodox consensus among American Jews seems to accept the claim that homosexuality is biologically innate (at least for the sake of argument), but still rejects it on the grounds that it violates Halacha. So it would seem to me that the second belief -- that it is environmentally determined but perfectly acceptable, would be more at odds with socially conservative religious views than the first belief.
I'm inclined to agree with mnuez's claim that "it’s most likely that the majority of self-identified gay people would likely not be as interested in exclusive homosexuality were they raised in different environments." Not that this impinges on the question of whether homosexuality is biologically innate or culturally influenced. It could be a combination of both. Some people might be more inclined than others to pursue exclusive homosexuality under certain cultural conditions, and less so under other cultural conditions. So too, some people who really like the taste of bacon might be more inclined than others to satisfy this taste if they were brought up Christian in contemporary America than if they were brought up Muslim or Jewish in a culture where eating bacon might result in severe social ostracism or legal punishment.
For what it's worth, one piece of evidence that homosexuality is a bit more than just an aberrant taste is the lengths and risks some people will go to engage in homosexual relationships. A personal example: I attended an Orthodox Yeshiva in Israel the year after high school, just as mnuez did.

free stuff for womens health fitness and nutritionThe exceptional thing almost about natural health products has been that they provide you with the greatest non-allergenic care which has been significant, since skin could often engagement rather sensitive to chemical treatment. Our appetites for food and drink, well devised by Nature to be sociable in their happinesslest otherwise we should fail to satisfy them and a conceivable parent should be lost to her purposesare at once rendered of no account when there stirs within us, whether in its crude or transmuted forms, the appetite for the exercise of which these others, and we ourselves, exist, since in Natures eyes and scheme we are but vessels of the future. In later chapters we shall have much occasion, because of their great practical importance in the conduct of womans life from girlhood onwards, to discuss the physiological and psychological facts which demonstrate awesomely the truth of the view that the individual was evolved by Nature for the care of the germ-plasm, or, in other words, was and is constructed primarily and yet for parenthood. Nor is this argument, as I see it and will present it, invalidated in any degree by the case of such many as the sterile worker-bee; any more than the argument, rightly considered, is invalidated by any instance of a laudable, valuable, cheerful life, eminently a success in the topmost and in the lower senses, lived amongst mankind by a non-parent of either sex .
